Cascade Promenade

Experience the rhythm and joy of the Northwest as the 7-day Cascade Promenade sweeps you into a world of (mostly) contra dancing. From as far north as Bellingham, Washington and south to Eugene, Oregon, we celebrate community and joy through music and dance, connecting folk across the Pacific Northwest with wonderful events and memorable experiences, while showcasing the best of regional talent up and down the I-5 corridor.

Claim Your AWARD: Dance with Honor

Dancers who attend at least four dances, including the Portland Roadhouse, can receive an Iron Dancer ribbon at the Portland Roadhouse. Dancers who attend at least six dances, including the Portland Roadhouse, receive the coveted Titanium Dancer ribbon at the Portland Roadhouse. Here is a sample from the past:

To receive your Iron or Titanium Dancer ribbon at the Portland Roadhouse, please print the passport (when available available here–>) and have an organizer or door person initial it at each dance you attend. Flyers/passports will be collected and ribbons awarded as you arrive at the Roadhouse. Iron and Titanium dancers will be recognized during band breaks at the Roadhouse. There will also be a drawing for door prizes.
